We supply Account and Non-account customers alike on a county-wide basis. All products are available both loose tipped and in 800kg bulk bags. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
One tonne will cover approximately 8sqm laid at our recommended finished compacted thickness of 50mm. This equates to a bulk bag coverage of 6.4sqm approximately per bag. These calculations build in a 10% wastage factor.
We can supply you with a minimum quantity for collection from our yard only. For bulk bag we can offer delivery across Essex
Yes, a confirmation email will be sent to you on payment and confirmation of your order, or you will be provided with a printed one if you collect from us. This is your invoice / receipt.
Yes, you can return materials providing they have not been used. If you are returning the goods for any other reason than defects, you will be responsible for the cost of the initial delivery as well as the cost of returning the goods to us. Please be aware that the cost of delivery and return can be costly due to the nature of the goods. The cost of return will be advised to you beforehand.

All bagged material is delivered on one of our crane assisted vehicles. Unfortunately we are not currently able to offer any other types of delivery. Please ensure you have a flat, hard surface, away from the roadside for the driver to offload. For access and delivery restrictions please see our Aggregates Delivery page. Please be aware that if your road or driveway is on an incline or decline this may cause issues for the tail lift and pallet truck offload. The driver will not be able to get the pallet truck onto a gravel driveway.
As long as your order is placed before 11am, you will be able to receive the goods next day for a small surcharge on your order. Standard delivery is based on a 48hr economy delivery. This is also subject to materials being in stock.
Bulk bags are between 750kg and 800kg.
Mini bags contain approximately 20kg – 50 bags per pallet.
No, these are one-trip bags for health and safety reasons, although they do prove useful for collecting garden waste, etc.
We advise that someone be present to accept the delivery, check it and sign for it. If you are not able to be present and the driver is unable to to deliver to a suitable and safe place on a flat surface then your delivery will be returned at a cost to you.
Yes they are. All delivery and Vat is included in the price. We deliver FREE to large parts of Essex providing your order is over a certain weight (a minimum of 25 poly bags). For certain areas a surcharge is applied. For full details (and exceptions) please contact us.
Aggregates we provide
Sharp Sand
Our Sharp Sand can be used for a wide range of building applications and is useful when creating external concrete work or for screeding.
Builders Sand
Building Sand is softer than Sharp Sand. It is more useful for bricklaying and basic paving applications as opposed to external concrete.
Ballast
Ballast is a more coarse mix of sand and gravel and is suitable for concrete mixes such as laying footings our foundations both externally and internally.
Type 1 (Crushed)
Type 1 Crushed concrete is made of recycled building materials from construction projects, to form a sustainable sub-base for building applications.
Type 2 (6F5/6F2)
An unbound sub-base material with more fines and a wider grading envelope than Type 1. Normally used as a layer under Type 1 in construction
Road Planings
Road planings are the resulting waste product from road resurfacing used for hard standings, building sub-bases and farm tracks.
Topsoil
Our topsoil is a quality recycled product and low in cost. Mainly used in commercial landscaping and domestic gardening projects, large and small
MOT Type 1
Used as the load-bearing sub-base for pavements and is ideal for other sub-base applications, including shed bases, ponds, driveways and much more.
10mm/20mm Shingle
We offer both 10mm (Pea Shingle) and 20mm Shingle for a wide variety of uses including driveways, drainage and for decorative purposes.
Concrete Nuggets (75mm)
An aggregate composed of Crushed Concrete and Brick which has been screened to remove dust and fines. Sizes range from 75mm down to 40mm.
Mixed Crushed Nuggets
For unstable ground, gabion walls, drainage and horse menage. Originates from demolition and can be graded to certain specifications like type 1.
40mm (down) Mixed Crushed
Our topsoil is a quality recycled product and low in cost. Mainly used in commercial landscaping and domestic gardening projects, large and small
Pure Crushed Concrete (with fines)
Most commonly used as a free draining base layer for pathways, roadways and under concrete. Besides using crushed concrete for driveways and patios.
